This is what sets Brooks apart”, commented Dan Sheridan, Brooks CEO.
In North America, Brooks’ sales increased by 13% in the first quarter, as compared to the prior year, maintaining the brand’s number one position in the adult performance running footwear market in US national retail for the ninth consecutive quarter and regaining the number one position in the US speciality footwear segment.
The company also gained momentum in key global markets during the quarter, with first quarter revenue growth in Asia Pacific and Latin America. Of particular note was the significant growth in Australia and China, up by 38% and 180% respectively year-over-year.
Brooks Running highlighted that maintained its pace of innovation across footwear and apparel categories during the first quarter of 2024, “in what will be a record year for product introduction”: the brand launched six new footwear styles, which contributed to a 10% growth in footwear sales year-over-year.
