Allbirds completes international distributor agreements
The Californian footwear brand has announced that it has finalised the agreements that will cover the Benelux and Scandinavian regions. Japan will now have an exclusive distributor
Authentic Brands, which has a "proven track record" among emerging brands such as OOFOS and OluKai, will be Allbirds’ first appointed Benelux distributor. In Scandinavia, the sustainable footwear brand will be distributed by The Future in eight countries, namely Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, and Sweden.
“We’re delighted to be working with best-in-class distributors to grow the Allbirds brand in these European geographies. These agreements span 11 countries and mark continuing progress in our strategic shift to a distributor model across key international geographies”, commented Annie Mitchell, Chief Financial Officer of Allbirds.
With the completion of these agreements, Allbirds has signed deals with eight international distributors, following Canada and South Korea in 2023, and Japan, Australasia, Gulf Countries, and Southeast Asia earlier this year.
The company also announced that Goldwin Inc. has become the exclusive distributor for the brand in Japan, a key territory for the brand; Goldwin’s expertise is expected to build brand awareness and expand omnichannel distribution in the region.
