Aldo teams up with Brook Brothers
Authentic Brands Group (ABG) and the Canadian-based Aldo Group have entered a partnership to expand Brooks Brothers' assortment of men's footwear and small leather goods
This new men's collection is expected to reflect the DNA of the New York-based brand, whose foundation dates to 1818, by offering a range of versatile and timeless aesthetic items. It will arrive in stores in February 2024 and will be distributed in department stores and speciality retailers, as well as Brooks Brothers stores and e-commerce in both the US and Canada
“The partnership with the Aldo Group furthers Authentic's mission to strategically align Brooks Brothers with category leaders whose expertise reinforces the brand's positioning. In partnership with the Aldo Group, we will build upon the brand's storied legacy with uniquely designed products that complement the brand’s elevated offerings”, commented Jarrod Weber, Group President of Lifestyle, Chief Brand Officer at Authentic. Brook Brothers is part of ABG's portfolio since 2020.
“We are excited to continue our strategic partnership with Authentic. This relationship will help unlock the full possibilities of the Brooks Brothers brand in the footwear and bags categories – pulling from their deep heritage while combining fresh and creative ideas”, said Jonathan Frankel, President of Aldo Product Services, the wholesale division of the Canadian group, whose services range from product design and development to branding to marketing and distribution.
In May, ABG had already signed a long-term licensing agreement concerning the Ted Baker brand with Aldo.
