adidas releases beer proof sneakers
Crafted in Germany, these limited-edition München shoes, were announced by adidas as a classic design re-imagined in the spirit of Oktoberfest
Made in Germany, home of Oktoberfest, the annual beer festival attracting 6 million people, the München shoes are inspired by the traditional lederhosen worn at the event and feature a full grain leather upper, leather lining and embroidery.
The design of the leather foot lining is aligned with the traditional red and white checked Oktoberfest-style shirts. The water-repellent upper keeps the users’ feet dry from rainstorms and spilt beer.
The shoes are available on adidas website with a selling price of 159.95 British pounds.
