40 449 trade visitors at the last edition of MICAM and its sisters fairs
MICAM Milano, Milano Fashion&Jewels, MIPEL and The One Milano ended their last editions with 40 449 trade visitors, 45% of whom were international, representing 127 countries
From the 23rd to the 25th of February 2025, 40 449 trade visitors filled the halls of Fiera Milano Rho for another edition of the four trade fairs. In line with the previous edition, 45% of these visitors came from abroad, representing 127 countries including Japan, China, France, Spain, Germany, Greece, and Turkey.
“Despite a complex economic landscape, both domestically and internationally”, stressed the organisation in a statement, the events showcased the offerings of 1 758 brands, 46% of which came from 51 different countries, taking advantage of the synergistic simultaneity of the events.
The February edition was marked by a strong focus on artisanal craftsmanship, with a commitment to excellence enriched by contemporary influences such as innovative materials and sustainable production techniques, but also by several educational sessions on the latest trends and the heritage that “inspires the most visionary and original ideas”.
Antonio Tajani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, underlined the importance of these trade fairs in a letter stating that fashion is a key sector for economic growth and employment in Italy. He also highlighted the contribution of Made in Italy excellence, represented by both large groups and small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as artisans who combine innovation, technology and tradition.
The next edition will be held from the 7th to the 9th of September at Fiera Milano Rho.
