Capri and NFWF expect to restore the health of around 150 000 acres of critical grazing lands in the Northern Great Plains, Southern Great Plains and Rocky Mountain Rangelands, a key leather-sourcing region within Capri's supply chain. To this end, they will work with private landowners and local partners to promote regenerative farming practices and improve the resilience of ranching communities, while sequestering greenhouse gas emissions and restoring critical wildlife habitat.

According to the company, the initiative is expected to generate 3 million US dollars in on-the-ground conservation impact through 1.5 million US dollars in funding from Capri Holdings and matching contributions through NFWF.
