Burberry appoints Alexandra McCauley as Chief People Officer
Joining from the luxury fashion brand Chanel, Alexandra McCauley will manage Burberry’s People strategy globally. She will join the company’s Executive Committee while reporting directly to Burberry CEO Jonathan Akeroyd

McCauley is currently Head of Global Diversity and Inclusion and Global People Communications and Engagement at Chanel in London. She previously held senior HR roles at NBC Universal, after beginning her career as a labour and employment lawyer.

Alex has a wealth of experience in building human and inclusive cultures within creative businesses, and she has a passion for helping people and organisations achieve their highest potential. I am looking forward to working with her to drive our strategy forward and realize our ambitions in this next phase”, commented CEO Jonathan Akeroyd.

Alexandra McCauley will start her new role in London on the 15th of November 2023.
