As a result, the start-up focusing in customized fashion footwear has raised 15.5 million US dollars in equity capital and strengthened its partnership with the US-based fashion retailer
This new round of funding ads to previous investments by BlueSky Venture Capital, Greycroft and Khosla Ventures, in a total combined funding said to achieve 24.6 million US dollars.

In 2015, Shoes of Prey has rolled out physical design studios in Nordstrom stores across the US, and the brand is also available within the Nordstrom online channel. The funding will allow Shoes of Prey to continue growing its omni-channel retail presence in the US, to consolidate its production capacity and to focus on expanding into new products.

Personalization is the key element behind the success of the business of Shoes of Prey which offers its customers the ability to design their own shoes online and choose from numerous combinations of style, heel height, material, color, size and width. Since its foundation, in 2009, Shoes of Prey has allowed the personalization of more than 5 million pairs of shoes.
